Little Biscuits x Kirsty Adams Intro to Clay Halloween edition

This is a special Halloween edition session

Award winning ceramist Kirsty Adams will be doing a general introduction to clay through modelling skills, potter's wheel and hand building skills in The Biscuit Factory on Tuesday 25 October.

Kirsty Adams is an award-winning ceramicist, making for over twenty years. She originally trained at Brighton Art College and then on the potters’ wheel in Japan. She has developed a personal approach to throwing on the wheel using porcelain clay, to produce unique pieces for the home. Having originally set up a studio in London, she now works from her studio in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Children will make three items. All items will be fired and glazed by the artist/teacher and delivered back to the gallery after the workshop within a couple of weeks ready for collection.

Children can bring a drink and a snack and there will also be water available.

Each teacher has DBS clearing and is currently working within schools in the region - so you can leave your child to enjoy their workshop, take an opportunity to visit the gallery and enjoy 10% off in The Factory Kitchen cafe (please request your voucher on arrival to the workshop).

All participants will receive an emailed booking confirmation and a reminder email closer to the event.

Payment is required upon booking. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.

All materials will be provided.

Please ensure that they are dressed in clothes that can get messy/stained/spoiled and feel free to bring along an apron for your child to wear.
