Hell's Ditch
Born and raised in the urban sprawls of the North West and Midlands, Hells Ditch is a new British punk rock group with "total heart and determination" setting a course to spark a new rebellion on our shores.

Championed by the likes of BBC Radio 1's The Rock Show, Kerrang! magazine and Radio X, Hell's Ditch is rising quickly through the ranks as "one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming bands" according to tastemakers, Punktastic.

Named after Irish stalwarts, The Pogues, Hell's Ditch's music aspires to the timelessness of the great dissident songwriters. Weaving together tales of class struggles, inner city poverty, alienation, violence, oppression and ultimately, resistance. Hell's Ditch knows their roots, and they are unafraid of speaking truth to power, whenever the opportunity arises.

With the cost of living in the UK soaring and wages falling ever further behind, the band's latest single draws focus on working-class aspirations at a time when a desire for real change is palpable. With industrial action rife, and growing discourse around the widening wealth gap, 'Take The Night Off' discusses the need for both fair compensation and respect:

"We're made to feel lucky that we have a job and that we should be grateful for the opportunity to fight over scraps from the tables of the political class," explains vocalist Nick Davis.

People deserve more than just the bare minimum - we deserve dignity and good quality of life. Take The Night Off is about the need to live a life beyond the daily grind. Bread and roses, if you will".

The coming together of members of well-loved underground UK punk bands - Nick, Johnny, Chris, Lee, Dan and Jack earned their stripes sharing stages with the likes of Anti-Flag, H2O, Mad Caddies, Joyce Manor and playing festivals like Groezrock, Rebellion and Download.

Embarking on their most ambitious work to date, the band debuted their first single 'Hope Is Hope' on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show in 2021, before picking up interest for a slew of follow-up tracks garnering praise from the likes of Kerrang!, Radio X, and folk-punk troubadour, Frank Turner. As well as partnerships with instrument brands, Rotosound and Fender.

With a busy year of touring alongside international bands like Kali Masi and invitations to Manchester Punk Fest, Vegan Camp Out, Right To Roam Festival and a debutant international show at Germany's Booze Cruise Festival, Hell's Ditch has now turned their attentions to their debut EP - set for release in 2023 through Silent Cult Records (Mimi Barks, Miss Vincent).
