Enjoy an exclusive tour after the Castle doors have closed for the night, and soak up the magical atmosphere of Newcastle's Castle Keep. Your guide will regale you with stories of the inhabitants of the Castle in far-off times. You will head into the romantic Great Hall for a glass of sparkling wine and a sweet treat whilst cello music is performed. After this, you will climb to the roof to enjoy the stunning vistas from the top of the great tower, looking out over Newcastle's night-time skyline.
Suitability
This is a walking tour of a Grade 1 listed historical monument, so please wear suitable footwear. Unfortunately the Castle Keep is not a fully accessible building, so you will need to be able to manage a significant number of stairs during the event. The Castle Keep will be cold in winter time, so please dress appropriately!
