Do you want to get back on your bike but find you don’t have the

time or money to get those small problems fixed? Do you want to learn

how to service your bike yourself so you can stay healthy and get fit?

We’re here to help!

Come and see Dr Bike at museums across Tyneside this summer for free

outdoor Learn and Fix drop in sessions. Dr Bike will provide a free

bike safety health check up and if possible, a basic service.

Learn how to:

Dr Bike will provide the tools and know-how to help make your bike

safe for riding.

These sessions are open for all types of bicycle from children's bikes

to mountain bikes, shoppers to racers. We'll focus on basic bike

servicing and teaching you how to do it yourself.

Saturday 2 July 2022 Segedunum Roman Fort & Museum 10am - 4pm

Thursday 28 July 2022 Arbeia, South Shields Roman Fort 10am - 4pm

Saturday 17 September 2022 Great North Museum: Hancock 10am - 4pm

Dr Bike is funded by Cycling UK and supported by Arts Council England,

North Tyneside Council and Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums Communities.
