Music from Frankie Jobling, The Timewasters, Nano Kino and Georgia May:
Double Standards is a night of local music, fundraising and empowerment -challenging the gender gap in social justice and shining the light on issues faced by women and girls in our community everyday, with all profits going to West End Women and Girls Centre.
The centre gives hope to so many who need it right here in the heart of our North East community.
They are the only open access centre in Newcastle and provide outreach education and empowerment to women and girls in need.
Whether it’s supporting through cases of domestic abuse, providing a warm meal, help with housing and accessing social services, or simply a shoulder to cry on, the team at the centre do anything and everything they can for those around them.
Due to continuous funding cuts, the centre desperately needs our support to help keep the doors open, the lights on, and to keep up the incredible work that goes on every day.
Doors are at 7pm.
Contact the organiser to request a refund. Eventbrite's fee is nonrefundable.
