Chain Reaction -- Plastician / Oneman B2B Bluetoof / Boo / Listen / Stereo45
Chain Reaction Presents our launch event. Artists at CR have the choice to be recorded live adding an exciting new element to Newcastle's music scene. Here is an introduction to the first of many great artists playing in the Warehouse:

Plastician - Dubstep, Grime & UK Garage artist from Croydon. Plastician, previously known as "Plasticman", played a huge role in the underground Grime and Dubstep scene from 1999 onwards. Working side by side with Skream, Benga, Artwork, Dj Hatcha, Horsepower Productions & more. Further on in his career he became a mainstay on Radio 1 & Rinse FM showcasing the UK's darkest music. 2007 saw the release of Plastician's debut LP "Beg to Differ" which to this day is still in every Dj's arsenal. Here at Chain Reaction we are so excited to bring such an iconic artist to Newcastle.

Oneman - Raised and inspired by South London's Pirate Radio stations Oneman became an amazing selector in the true sense of the word. A residency with Rinse FM later on in his career showcased the extensive Funky, Hip hop, Garage, Grime, Techno, Breaks & Jungle that he has acquired over the years. Back to back for two hours with Bluetoof will be a madness.

Bluetoof - One of the best breakthrough artists of recent times and one to watch for the future! Hybrid electronic productions combining Techno, Grime, Breaks and more; a perfect act to have alongside Oneman at Chain Reaction.

Stereo 45: Nectax, Sketchy Rida,

and Renok9000 come together under the banner of Stereo 45. Showcasing in Newcastle the rich scene existing at the intersection of Junglism and Ghettoteknicz. The 160 Trio supply

all things high-speed and bass heavy and will be closing the first Chain Reaction show in style.

Boo - Boo is a producer, DJ, vocalist, and founder of the Ghetec party series in Newcastle. Her first track ‘Air is my Element’ was released via Anetha’s Mama Told Ya imprint in July. She’s received support from an array of established DJs and airplay on BBC Radio 1, with Jack Saunders making her his Next Wave Future Artist.

Inspired by Burial, 90s rave & the trance she grew up around in the North, she carries these influences into her work whilst focusing on emotional release to guide self-expression. Her work spans from heavy club hitters to emotive burnt-out ambience. Boo will release her debut EP via Lobster Theremin later this year. We look forward to seeing her smash the 11-12 slot at CR.
