Printmaking and embroidery will be shown in this exhibition of work by our neighbours, Arcadea Disability Arts. Over summer 2022 a group of learning-disabled artists regularly visited Newcastle Cathedral to take inspiration from our amazing collection of art and architecture.
Based in Newcastle, Arcadea is a user-led organisation which works to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people. The artists shown in the exhibition attend the HUB, a creative day service for learning-disabled people at the charity’s Mosley Street studio.
