Go on an Ouseburn Bat Safari to discover the sights and sound's of these urban city dwellers in Newcastle's popular Ouseburn area. You will be introduced to the diverse and awe-inspiring sights and sounds of different bat species as they go about their nightly routines, sharing fascinating facts about these intriguing mammals along the way.

Your tour guides will use specialist equipment to bring a new level to eavesdropping... their Echo Meter Touch 2 PRO, will enable you to not only hear, but also see the ultrasonic echolocation calls of bats on a colour spectrogram! They will also have heterodyne Magenta 4 detectors to use, perfect to scroll through and pinpoint the exact individual contact calls of bats through their clicks, clacks and slaps.
