We are really pleased that some of our regular musician friends will be back with us for relaxed acoustic session playing in our Courtyard over the summer months (or inside the café if weather not great).
They will be here on the 1st Thursday of every month from 4th May until 7th September.
Expect to hear some of the most experienced folk singers and musicians in the North East, as they bring with them local songs and tunes about life in the North East.
The musicians are hoping to join us once a month, the line up may differ each time – including Bill Elliott, Kevin Youldon, Ken Tonge, Kiddar’s Luck, Hop. Skiffle & Jump and the Cloth Cap Temperance Band.
Drop by anytime between 11.30am – 2pm, it’s free for our customers to attend and no booking required.
Café open for drinks, snacks, breakfast, lunch and sweet treats – seating both indoors and outdoors.
Polite notice – only refreshments/food bought in our café can be eaten in and around the Heritage Centre (including our benches and planting areas). If bringing your own food/picnic you are very welcome to use the field area just over the mound from the Heritage Centre.
