Which attractions are open in NewcastleGateshead?

Across NewcastleGateshead - indoor attractions, entertainment venues, cinemas, museums, art galleries and theatres remain closed. We hope that they will begin to reopen from 17 May 2021 in line with the government's roadmap.

Outdoor attractions such as WWT Washington and Ouseburn Farm as well as the grounds of Beamish Museum, National Trust and English Heritage venues have begun to reopen (from 29 March 2021). You CAN get out on the water too with CBK Adventures - shake off the confines of lockdown safely with a kayak along the River Tyne or paddleboarding at the coast. Discover more about the city with an outdoor guided tour or become a paranormal investigator and explore Newcastle's most haunted places with Escape Key's newest outdoor escape game, Thirteen Ghosts. Challenge your mind and body by scaling the indoor bouldering wall at The Climb in Ouseburn, which is open from 12 April for pre-booked adventurers.
