The Punch Bowl located in the suburb of Jesmond is a traditional Newcastle boozer with signature twists. There's Russian art, electronic toilets inspired by a Tokyo McDonald's and a model railway whizzing its way around the walls. Behind the bars, there are more than 30 varieties of wine and beer, in addition to spirits, and upstairs is Bobiks, an intimate venue with capacity for 60.
You'll find three rooms, specialising in records, doggos, vermouth, craft beers, absinthe, live bands, cinema screenings, theatre, delicious plates of scran, stand up comedy and everything in-between. Children are welcome, and they have an outdoor area for all your sunbathing needs.
