Newcastle's only, dedicated dog cafe, Dog and Scone, is heaven for dog lovers, where visitors can enjoy delicious cakes, coffee and tea all in the company of the cafe's resident dogs. Dog lovers can enjoy a cafe experience with a difference, by spending time sipping a cup of tea all whilst petting a friendly dog. Dog and Scone cafe has a garden-themed design creating a calming environment for you and the pooches to which to relax in.
For the welfare and benefit of the dogs there is a £6 entry fee per person per hour which include the first drink, to ensure the best care for the dogs. This fee goes towards vet bills, food, grooming, toys and to help keep the cafe running. Children must be aged 11+ to enter. For safety and insurance policy reasons, visiting dogs are not allowed in the cafe.
Pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Tuesday - Sunday: 11am – 7pm (last booking at 6pm)
Prebook a timed slot (1 hour slots) and arrive on time for your booking as your table will be held for 10 minutes, after which it will be offered to other customers.
