The Tyne Bar beside the River Tyne is usually heaving during the summer months but remains closed at this time. You can now recreate the pub-life from your own home with takeaway beers, ciders and wines from the Ouseburn pub. Order here on Thursdays for (limited) delivery on Friday or Saturday that same week. But please do take your drinks home!

The Free Trade, Ouseburn

Block and Bottle, Heaton

After 3 years in Gateshead, independent butcher and beer shop Block and Bottle have relocated to Heaton. Not only do they sell some of the finest meat, you can also stock up on a great selection of craft beer, IPAs and wine. Local suppliers include By the River Brew Co, Full Circle Brew, Wylam Brewery and North Brewing Co. Block and Bottle is currently open 9am - 5pm Tuesdays to Saturdays.
